We were fortunate to make the back end of this video from practice last night! Weather is great today and the green flag drops at 7:00! #leavetheleftfrontathome... See MoreSee Less
We are locked and loaded Wissota 100 bound in the morning! Wow what a chain of events. After scaling the car and thinking we were ready to go Sunday evening a stuck axle revealed that in fact our LR axle tube was bent. More damage from getting hit after the checkard last weekend. This further explains our poor performance Sunday.
Last night we pulled the entire rear end out, pulled the tube and bell. Ran it over to Little Falls Transmission today and Scott was nice enough to drop what he was doing and straighten it on the spot so we could slap it all back together tonight and try to stay on schedule! We will see everyone there! ... See MoreSee Less
We tried a new way to make some sidebite but it just wasn't enough and we backed up and struggled the whole night.
Saturday Viking Speedway
We made some more adjustments and were better in the heat. After even more adjustments we were able to go 11th to 8th in the feature and had 7th for a good part of the race. Really felt like we had a good car then got hit in the LR after the checkard. Other driver said they lost brakes.
We didn't find anything wrong on a visible inspection of the car other then some body bracing.
Sunday Viking Speedway
We struggled hard in the heat and the feature. Leaving the track we knew something had to be wrong as good as the car was the night before. Upon a complete inspection today of all bolt on components we found the J-Bar which locates the rear end side to side in the car was in fact bent.
We will get everything back to how it should be and be at the Wissota 100!
Thanks to everyone who makes this possible! ... See MoreSee Less
Heat: We cammed the brake floater rod over in the heat. In a less technical description we wrecked some stuff and our performance suffered because of it. We thrashed to repair it in time for the B and barely made it out. We started in the back and made our way up to 4th which locked us into the big show. After further inspection we elected to start and park as we still weren't sure what was all bent and probable to break.
